• Leading in the day-to-day activities of the staff and church, functioning as the Chief-of-Staff for the Lead Pastor

• Working closely with the Lead Pastor to give leadership and oversight to all ministries, volunteers, and leadership teams of the church

• Guiding and coaching ministry staff and high-capacity volunteers in areas of spiritual and leadership development, ministry effectiveness and productivity

• Strategic development and implementation of volunteer initiatives to encourage, envision, and help them take next steps in their leadership

• Regular part of Weekend Teaching Team

• Coordinating with Operations Team to ensure environments are ministry ready (esp. during construction)

Westerville Campus Pastor

• Launched new campus location for Rock City Church

• Leading, building teams, and developing leaders at the Westerville Location of Rock City Church 

• Part of the Weekend Teaching Team 

• Led two Rock City tours (9 day) to Israel 

• Strategically developing new systems and processes to facilitate a growing church 

• Developing relationships with staff and leaders throughout Rock City to mentor, encourage, and counsel 

• Facilitating Rock City’s marriage mentoring process to accomplish pre-martial counseling for an average of 42 wedding/year for the past 2 years 

• Personal counseling and encouraging staff team members and volunteer leaders 

• Part of the Legacy team endeavor to encourage people with the gift of Giving 

• Organized several multi-generational initiatives to introduce and invite people to Rock City 

• Envisioned and organized several local and college outreaches 

• Effective stage communication during weekend services 

• Metrics reporting and analyzing for trends 

• The Rock City Campus in Westerville experienced 118% growth in attendance over 3 years. 

• Leading assimilation strategies to help people engage in the bigger picture of God’s plan for their lives in Rock City

• Built and nurtured relationships with more than 30 Chapel staff members, regularly meeting with different ministry staff teams to help, hear, and envision next steps for these ministries

• Participated as part of the lead Pastoral Team to pray through and discuss strategic next steps for the entire church

• Advanced into a dramatically increased teaching role for weekend services, resulting in a strong passion to communicate God’s Word clearly, relevantly, and creatively 

• Conceptualized and transitioned The Chapel to a multi-site church with the launch of The Chapel – South Campus in 2012

• Facilitated and taught a Foundations Class offered at The Chapel to encourage pathways for individuals to identify their uniqueness of how God formed them and how that uniqueness equips them to impact an area of the Body of Christ by serving

• Restructured and implemented a system of connecting and engaging people to the Church

• Partnered with worship leader and staff to design weekend experiences that engage people creatively and relevantly

• Previously served as Pastor of Ministries to oversee, envision and encourage the many growing and vibrant ministries of The Chapel, including the Kid’s Celebration program, Student Ministry, Worship, and Communications

• Grew the weekly attendance of the congregation from 350 people in 1997 to over 2000 people 

• Developed and protected a healthy staff and church culture

• Coordinated and directed all facets of the Children’s ministry (Nursery through 6th grade), which included leadership development and teacher training

• Organized and restructured the Adult Sunday School program and began a Small Group Ministry

• Developed and mentored the volunteer leadership in the College Fellowship ministry

• Taught weekly Bible and topical studies for the college ministry

• Developed and implemented a “First Impressions” ministry to follow up and welcome guests

• Discipled and built strong relationship with several men to encourage them for regular breakfast and lunch meetings

• Coordinated, developed, and led the volunteer leadership in Jr. High and Sr. High youth ministry as well as Young Adults/Singles Ministry

• Taught weekly Bible Studies and implemented special events and activities for student ministry

• Coordinated and led several multi-church youth missions trips and retreats

• Counseled youth and parents in the student ministry

• Taught weekly Bible and topical studies for the Young Adult/Singles group

• Supervised and planned all facets of the Children’s ministry (Nursery – 5th grade), which included leadership development and teacher training

• Budgeted the church-wide finances and led the Treasurer Team
