We are honored to call Reg and Cesca Genter authentic lifelong friends; the type of friend, leader and mentor that is hard to find. For the last 19 years they have encouraged us in growing our relationship with Jesus, pouring love and compassion, mentoring and leadership into our family.  One of the best attributes of Reg and Cesca is their heart for others.  They are so relational, determined to make everyone feel welcome and experience a touch of God's love.  When you add Reg to your staff, you also get blessed with his joy-filled family.  Cesca is the cheerleader behind Reg, fully supporting him in the ministry.  They both exude hospitality, always opening their home and hearts to others for Bible studies, small groups, leadership training, vision casting, one-on-one counseling, or simply providing a meal to someone in need.

 

Greg has served on the Elder Board for 8 years with Reg, worked on the Building Committee alongside him to design our church buildings, served with him to lead the greeting ministry and many other small groups, committees, and teams over the years.  Stacie enjoyed working with him in the office as Financial Secretary and experienced his daily encouragement and visionary leading with the staff.  Reg also has impeccable IT troubleshooting skills.   We both have a great deal of respect for this man and know that God has big plans for his future.

 

Pastor Reg has many skills and abilities, including being a relevant and compassionate pastor growing the church congregation numerically, but more importantly spiritually, a Biblically knowledgeable teacher, a visionary thinker, and an extremely humble leader.  He was instrumental in a paradigm shift when we changed from a traditional children’s ministry to our current format, which is high energy and relevant teaching to small groups of age-specific kids.  He was diligent in doing research, forming teams to travel to conferences to learn about this new format, and he encouraged the staff and volunteers to embrace this change.  Our church saw significant growth over the years because Reg led by faith and not by fear of change.

 

Pastor Reg has played a significant role in bringing people closer to God, each other, and a freedom in Christ. He prepared a course (Foundations Serve) over 16 years ago to teach people how to find their God-given gifts and to use them to serve in the church.  This has enabled many people to get involved, serving the Lord throughout the church, community, and around the globe.  This includes my wife and me, who were fortunate to take this course early in our marriage and to get involved with serving in our church.

 

Pastor Reg has been the driving factor in integrating technology into all aspects of The Chapel, including weekend services, testimonial videos that are extremely powerful, and using social media in order to remain relevant with every generation.  He is visionary and continuously empowers the staff and volunteers that are under his leadership direction.  

 

We fully recommend that you consider Reg Genter as your next pastor. Your community will be blessed to have such a heartfelt, sincere man help with leading others to Christ and discipling them in their relationship with our awesome God!!
